Installation Guide for 05-07 Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 Headlights
THIS GUIDE IS FOR
NOTE: Some vehicle require the DRL harness installed for the headlight to function properly.
Do NOT use dielectric or any type of weather sealing grease on connectors or sockets.
Doing so will result in connection problems and will not be covered under warranty. Please click HERE for further explanation.

INSTALLATION TOOLS
1/4 Ratchet
Power Tool
Metal Panel Popper
Phillips Screwdriver
Flat Screwdriver
1/4 Extension
Socket
Size NEEDED
NOTE: Whenever using a power tool, please make sure do not overtighten the screws.
PART I - REMOVE HEADLIGHTS
DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Whenever working on your vehicle always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.
REMOVE THE RADIATOR SHROUD COVER
First, open the hood and start by removing the plastic clips from the radiator shroud cover.
Next, remove the cover and set it aside for later reinstallation.
REMOVE THE GRILLE
Remove the top (4) bolts from the grille.
Use a flat screwdriver to release the grille retainer clips (5) from the bottom inner area of the grille.
Carefully remove the grille by puling it outward towards you and set it aside for later reinstallation.
REMOVE THE HEADLIGHTS BOLTS
Remove 2 X 5.5mm bolts on the top of the headlight.
Use the extension to remove 2 X 5.5mm bolts at the bottom of the headlight.
REMOVE THE HEADLIGHTS
After the bolts are removed, carefully pull the headlight outward towards you to remove.
Unplug the wiring and remove the headlights.
Please follow the same procedure for the other side of the headlight.
PART II - INSTALL HEADLIGHTS
ROUTE THE DRL HARNESS
Route the daytime running lights harness to the two headlights.
Start at the driver’s side which is closest to the truck’s fuse box and one of the battery.
TAP THE FUSE
Open the fuse box and ready to tap the fuse.
Connect the red wire to the battery positive terminal and the black wire to the battery negative
terminal.
PLUG AND INSTALL HEADLIGHTS
Connect low/ high beam, daytime running lights and turn signal wiring harnesses to the new
ALPHAREX headlight.
Finish the installation by securing the headlight to the truck.
Repeat the previous steps for the opposite side headlight for installation.
Reinstall the grille and radiator shroud cover to complete installation.
TEST THE HEADLIGHT FUNCTIONS
Test the functions of your ALPHAREX headlights to ensure everything works properly.
ADJUST HEADLIGHT LEVEL
Once everything has been tested aim your ALPHAREX headlights by parking 25ft from a wall and
level the headlight beams evenly.
Turn clockwise: to lower the light
Turn counterclockwise: to raise the light
COMPLETE INSTALLATION
Congratulations! you have completed the installation for ALPHAREX 05-07 Ford Super Duty
F-250 / F-350 / F-450 / F-550 headlights.
