The following installation guide we take you through the installation of your new ALPHAREX TAIL LIGHTS for your 07-13 Toyota Tundra step by step.

Do NOT use dielectric or any type of weather sealing grease on connectors or sockets. Doing so will result in connections problems and will not be covered under warranty. Please click HERE for further explanation.

INSTALLATION TOOLS

T30

NOTE: Whenever using a power tool, please make sure do not overtighten the screws.

Whenever working on your vehicle
always make sure your vehicle is parked with the ignition off.

PART I - REMOVE TAIL LIGHTS

REMOVE THE TAIL LIGHTS

Open the liftgate and remove the T30 bolts.

Unscrew the top and bottom T30 bolts from each side of the tail lights.

Gently pull the tail light outward to remove.

Remove the light sockets from the tail light assembly.
Please follow the same steps for the other side of the tail lights.

REMOVE THE TAIL LIGHTS’ WIRING

Use the panel popper to remove the plastic clip retainer.

Go under the rear bumper and locate the tail light wiring socket.

Unplug the wiring socket and remove the entire wiring harness.
Please repeat the same steps for the other side of the tail light.

PART II - INSTALL TAIL LIGHTS

PLUG THE WIRING INTO THE CONNECTOR

Unbox the new Alpharex Tail Lights and prepare the wire harness installation.

Route the wiring harness the way as the OEM wiring . Then , install the tail light on to the truck.

Go under the rear bumper and plug the tail light’s wiring socket into the connector.

Secure the top and bottom T30 bolts and finish install the new Alpharex tail lights.
Please repeat the same steps for the other side of the tail light.
