INSTALLATION TOOLS
Pick Tools
1/4 Ratchet
Power Tool
Torx Screwdriver
Pliers
1/4 Extension
Socket
(Star Torx)

NOTE: Whenever using a power tool, please make sure do not overtighten the screws.
Whenever working on your vehicle
always make sure your vehicle is parked with the ignition off.
PART I - REMOVE TAIL LIGHTS
REMOVE TAIL LIGHTS SCREWS
Open the trunk gate and start by removing the tail light’s screws.
Remove the top and bottom T15 screws from each side of the tail lights.
Gently remove the tail lights by pulling outward.
UNPLUG THE LIGHTS SOCKETS
Before removing the tail lights, it is necessary to remove the entire wiring and unplug the sockets from under/behind the driver’s side rear bumper.
REMOVE THE WIRING AND THE TAIL LIGHTS
To remove the wiring, use a pick tool to unclip the cable clips as shown from the pictures below.
There are (2) cable clips securing the wiring for the driver’s side tail light and (4) cable clips securing for the wiring for the passenger’s side tail light.
Once tail lights and wirings are removed, please set them aside for the factory mounts transfer into your new ALPHAREX tail lights.
TRANSFER THE FACTORY MOUNTS
After tail lights are removed, use T25 screwdriver to transfer the factory mounts into your new ALPHAREX tail lights. There are (2) mounts per each tail lights.
PART II - INSTALL TAIL LIGHTS
ROUTE & PLUG THE TAIL LIGHTS WIRING
Before installation, it is important that you have transferred the factory mounts into the new ALPHAREX tail lights. Now, lets get ready to route and plug the wiring into the truck.
Route the tail light wiring into the truck (as shown from the illustration) and secure each section using the factory plastic connector mounts.
Plug-in the wiring sockets as shown from the picture below.
INSTALL THE TAIL LIGHTS
Gently push the tail light into the mounting position and use T15 screwdriver to tighten the top and bottom screws.
Please repeat the same process for the other side of the tail light.
NOTE: Whenever using a power wrench, please make sure do not overtighten the bolts.
COMPLETE INSTALLATION
Congratulations! you have completed the installation for ALPHAREX 14-18 Chevy Silverado LUXX-Series LED tail lights.
