Installation Guide for 19-23 Toyota RAV4 Headlights
THIS GUIDE IS FOR
NOTE: Some vehicle require the DRL harness installed for the headlight to function properly.
Do NOT use dielectric or any type of weather sealing grease on connectors or sockets.
Doing so will result in connection problems and will not be covered under warranty. Please click HERE for further explanation.

INSTALLATION TOOLS
1/4 Ratchet
Power Tool
Metal Panel Popper
Flat Screwdriver
1/4 Extension
Socket
Size NEEDED
NOTE: Whenever using a power tool, please make sure do not overtighten the screws.
PART I - REMOVE HEADLIGHTS
DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Whenever working on your vehicle always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.
LOOSE THE FRONT GRILLE AND THE BUMPER
Remove the 4 X 10mm bolts and 4 mounting taps on the upper part of the front grille.
Remove 1 X 10mm bolt and 3 plastic clips from the wheel well.
Gently pull the bumper outward to get loose.
Use the panel popper to help you disengage the fender liner from the mounting. Gently pull it outward to get loose and until you see the bumper’s side mount plastic clip.
Use the flat screwdriver and panel popper to remove the plastic clip. Please follow the same steps for the other side.
Gently pull the grille and the front bumper outward to disengage and release from all of the mounting clips.
REMOVE THE BOLTS
Remove the 3 X 10mm bolts from the top of the headlight assembly. 1 X 10mm from the side of the headlight assembly. Please follow the same steps for the other side.
REMOVE THE HEADLIGHTS
Gently pull the headlight assembly outward to disengage.
Unplug the headlight’s sockets to complete the headlights removal.
Please follow the same steps for the other side of the headlights.
PART II - INSTALL HEADLIGHTS
PLUG THE SOCKETS AND INSTALL THE HEADLIGHTS
DO NOT USE DIELECTRIC GREASE!
Plug all of the light sockets to the new ALPHAREX headlights and install into the vehicle.
Please reverse the removal process to finish the headlights installation.
TEST THE HEADLIGHT FUNCTIONS
Test the functions of your ALPHAREX headlights to ensure everything works properly.
ADJUST HEADLIGHT LEVEL
Once everything has been tested aim your ALPHAREX headlights by parking 25ft from a wall and
level the headlight evenly.
COMPLETE INSTALLATION
Congratulations! you have completed the installation for ALPHAREX 19-23 Toyota RAV4 Headlights.
