Installation Guide for 21-23 Toyota GR86 | Subaru BRZ LED Tail Lights
THIS GUIDE IS FOR
Do NOT use dielectric or any type of weather sealing grease on connectors or sockets.

INSTALLATION TOOLS
1/4 Ratchet
Power Tool
Metal Panel Popper
Phillips Screwdriver
1/4 Extension
Socket
Size NEEDED
NOTE: Whenever using a power tool, please make sure do not overtighten the screws.
Whenever working on your vehicle
always make sure your vehicle is parked with the ignition off.
PART I - REMOVE TAIL LIGHTS
REMOVE THE BOLTS
Whenever working on your vehicle always make sure your vehicle is OFF and parked.
Open the trunk and start by removing the tail light’s bolts.
To detach the tail light, begin by raising the plastic guard cover.
Loosen the 3 X 10mm bolts by turning them counterclockwise.
Carefully pull the tail light assembly outward towards you to remove it from its position.
Remove the tail light by disconnecting the plug socket.
Please follow the same procedure for the opposite side of the tail light.
TRANSFER THE BRACKET
Position the stock tail lights on the work table and Initiate the process by loosening the bracket screws.
Utilize the previously removed bracket to transfer and securely install it onto the new ALPHAREX tail light.
Kindly replicate the identical steps for the opposite side of the tail light.
TURN SIGNAL LIGHTING STYLE
Prior to installing the new ALPHAREX tail lights, you have the option to select the desired turn signal lighting style.
Please note that whichever choice you opt for, ensure to apply the same selection to both tail lights to maintain consistent lighting.
If Green connectors are unplugged: the lighting style will be Sequential only.
If Green connectors are connected: the lighting style will be Blinking only.
PART II - INSTALL TAIL LIGHTS
INSTALL THE TAIL LIGHTS
Connect the light socket into the tail light assembly, taking care not to disrupt the wire placement that could affect proper installation.
To finish the installation, follow the reverse procedure of the removal process.
COMPLETE INSTALLATION
Congratulations! you have completed the installation for ALPHAREX 21-23 Toyota GR86 / Subaru BRZ LED Tail Lights.
