Hands down the best purchase I've ever made just a plug and play no need to cut wires or anything and looks great
Got these for my 4th gen TRD pro, pretty easy install, since my truck had a powered tail gate I had to transfer my buttons from my oem tail lights over to these. The oem fasteners that hold the buttons will not fit in the alpharex tail lights, had to find my own that wouldn’t damage the threads. I also had to pry off the reflector where the power buttons would mount in the alpharex tail lights.
Besides that I love the amber turn signals and the power up sequence, love these tail lights! (No install instructions were available when I received my order) but it’s pretty easy to swap.
Terrible fit, rubber seal that attaches to the headlight to alleviate gap between grill fell off out of the box. Low beams quit first time out had to drive home with high beams. No help from company highly suggest Morimoto or someone who rebuilds headlight locally.
Bought these to match the Luxx series headlights I had bought previously. Easy install and great light output. Being able to switch between white driving lights and yellow foglights is nice. Highly recommend these lights.
Okay, so I'll start with saying at first I did like them. They feel ok quality, little bit lower quality than OEM. The shop that installed them didn't want to install the DRL harness because they felt the wiring quality was too low to be in an exposed environment. So I installed it myself. Drove with them for 2 years. I've had countless issues. First minor issue was the signal lights would randomly hyper flash. I resolved this by changing out their garbage inline fuse for a sealed unit. That seemed to fix that issue for a couple months. First major issue was extreme condensation in the headlights. So I took them apart, resealed them completely, and never had issues from then on to do with moisture. Just very poor silicone job on the lens. Just recently I noticed my headlights not turning off when I left the truck. So I popped the hood, and the DRL module was huffing smoke. The garbage wiring that the shop was too concerned to install, melted itself completely inside. $700 and that's what you get. Oh, and yes, I did contact customer service, they were useless and more willing to stand behind their company policies of not being helpful. If they had just send me the $35 harness, I would have never wrote this review. But here we are. Run as fast as you can from Alpharex. Do not buy their products, I was lucky my house didn't burn down and they couldn't care less.
Thanks for nothing.
