The NOVA-Series LED Projector Headlights Alpha-black for the Jeep Wrangler JL/Gladiator JT are much better than factory halogen headlamps, but they're not the brightest on the market. We got spoiled with Diode Dynamics Elite Series LED headlights.
However, the overall function, fit, and look of the product is excellent. All black makes it stealthy with the blacked out grilles. The DRL is very modern and resembles that of the Rivian vehicles in our opinion. The high beams leave a lot to be desired, they really have a medium throw. I don't feel like these are great for offroading, but if you want to flex on the street these are the ticket.
I've performed headlight and taillight installs on the JL now about 5 times and I will say the TOUGHEST part of the install is going to be the turn signal adapters, no matter who you go with. Once you get that knocked out, everything else is a breeze.
Aligning these headlights are MUCH easier than Diode Dynamics offering, where you have to remove the entire headlight to adjust it. Bonkers, so I will give Alpharex that one.
I do think these are a good buy, but man I wish Jeep designed those turn signal harnesses differently so you could tap into them a lot easier. I'd recommend these if you wanted to spice things up, but do your research. At the end of the day if you're going for looks, this is where it's at. If you're going for performance, I don't mean function,, these function great, but the light output could be better and more focused like competitor products.
The beam cut off's are not all that sharp and blur up on the edges, and I'm spoiled to the DD product. The taillights from Alpharex are the cleanest on the market though and are the easiest to install. You don't even have to modify the harness or run wiring to the back for an amber turnsignal either. The electrical magic they placed in those are the chef's kiss.
