They do look pretty good in my 2025 RAV4 but there wasn’t instructional information from start to finish; they need to update it on website. Though my Rav did not need the converter there also was not instructional info on how to install that or if I even needed it!
I tried calling customer service multiple times and I’m convinced there were no “real” agents available. It kept saying “all agents busy”, and would hang up while I was waiting on hold. I also tried the online message system, plus the contact sytem including my email and issue. No response. Until someone from the technical option picked up, but that’s ridiculous.
I really liked the Alpharex headlights, so to finish it off I installed the taillights also. The white lenses serve to break up all the red (red car, red stripe and I painted the black trunk lid panel to match the car).
I would have rated 5 stars except for the availability of the parts is spotty, and there are no instructions included in the box or on the website, although install isn’t rocket science.
Bought a month ago. Contacted customer support about passenger side low beam not working. Received "DRL Harness" as the guy stated via text, did not come with any instructions. This is a 2 wire pcb half-a**d shrink wrapped but still open on the ends (not very water proof) solution when I have 3 wire headlights. Still haven't heard anything back.
Love these lights on my 24 Tundra, took a little bit of finesse to get them to fit correctly. When I would tighten the 2 bolts the outside edge would bow out causing there to be a large gap between the back of the light and the bed. Had to put shims in between the light and the metal that it bolts to get it to not pull out as far. The quality of the lights are great though. Other than fighting install a little bit I’m very pleased with them. I’ll probably wait for a sale but I’m probably going to go for the headlights that Alpharex sells as well.
These headlights are not a direct fit as advertised. There is a hard interference with the truck that prevents install of the headlight without cutting a portion out of the header panel. Once installed, you also need to drill a hole in the header panel to access the adjustment screw. The DRL harness does not hook to the fuse location in the directions, it is PCM keep alive power and your lights will not turn off.
