Nice to be able to see at night. Factory lights are marginal, at best. Install was simple. Only down side is having to remove the lights for adjustments. But once adjusted, then your done. Expensive, but well worth it.
Best thing I ever got for my car!
Put them in correctly and they worked great for about the first 30 mins of driving with them in for the first time. Then my truck started saying that the lights were out and they were. Contacted support and they set me some more resistors to add on and still had the same problem. So I took them out and put my old ones back in and am in the process of getting them returned, though struggling with the support team to make that happen.
So I’ll start off with these headlights do look really cool on the rig. The black housing with the orange daytime light are great. Now the bad. They are not bright. Oncoming headlights cut right through these. Alpharex told me to replace the bulbs with a brand of led that doesn’t exist anymore. I found the smallest leds and they still didn’t fit. Ended up having to get fanless ones which made them a little better. Stock headlights are much better as far as function go. Now for the worst. The finish on one of the headlights is coming off on the top of the housing after only three years with mostly garage parking. When I contacted alpharex they told me that it’s because I polished them with a machine and there’s no other possible way it would do that. I definitely did not polish them. They claim that it can’t be a bad finish damaged by sunlight because sunlight would have damaged the lights evenly followed by plenty of other ridiculous reasons why it’s my fault. They basically made every wild excuse they could. I will never buy from them again. Save your money and buy some quality lights. There’s a reason why alpharex is so much cheaper than other brands.
