Only dislike is the adjusment. It needs a different style so it’s easier for people who dont have a long skinny screwdriver
I've been running these lights for the last 3 weeks and they've been better than stock in every way. Quality is exceptional for the pro-series, which doesn't have amber running light capabilities, just a heads up. The projectors have more directed light, even with halogens, and the high beams are a definite difference to stock. My only thought is the mounting hardware, or lack of. Based on my understanding, this kit comes with everything you need to mount the headlights, which isn't exactly the case. The stock headlight assemblies utilize nuts and also a slotted plastic element that a retainer clip slids behind to keep the light in place. Luckily for me, those plastic elements were threaded on, so I installed them to the alpharex units, however, if you weren't previously running oem headlight assemblies and the plastic element was molded to the light, you'd be missing two nuts to mount the top of the lights. All in all, this is a great kit with awesome performance, especially for the price. Wiring is straightforward and not difficult. The new halogen bulb socket also gives more options when it comes to aftermarket led bulbs, making a full LED swap easier. I definitely recommend you try this kit out, it retains the classic obs look while only adding to it.
Installed on my 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 LTZ. Did not throw any codes. Seems brighter than stock LED fog lights. Only complaint is no installation instructions for DRL function. Does come with wiring harness for DRLs, extra hardware and tab for stock wire harness wire management.
Built and shipped a brand new 25 capstone to my local Toyota and had them install these on it right as it came into lot. Looks amazing and install was very easy and simple.
